RENTAL SPACE

Gladish Community and Cultural Center is foremost a public building providing community facilities for education, arts, and recreation.

In addition to the gymnasium, view room, little theater, and auditorium, low cost facilities are available to day care providers, private schools, cultural organizations, and small businesses. Non-profit tenants and public agencies providing services consistent with our exempt function and goals of serving community are especially welcome.

Public Facilities
The following public facilities are available for short-term rental (rental rates* apply as of April 2008):

* Basic rental rates for all of the rooms include the items noted for each room; setup of available tables and chairs is included if you provide a layout diagram or specific directions. Time allowed for setup and cleanup is negotiable; contact the office to discuss options. All services should be requested prior to the event; additional fees may apply for services requested during the event. Rates are subject to change without notice. Payment for wedding events is due by the day of the event; payment for other events is due within ten days after the event.

Additional Equipment Available to Rent: Spotlights (little theatre or gym only); grand piano (auditorium only); sound system, LCD projector, cordless and lapel microphones (includes basic tech support); portable stage; gazebo; and dance floor also are available to rent. Other Public Options
The following rental options are currently available:

  • "Green Room" and Attached Dressing Rooms
    The green room, a large room (1538 square feet), referred to as the "Green Room," and its connected dressing rooms can be rented as a rehearsal room in conjunction with the auditorium, or it can be rented separately for meetings, workshops, or small catered events.
    Rent: Modest fees; depend on event and duration


  • Meeting Rooms
    Rooms of about 700 square feet are temporarily available for small meetings or catered events.
    Rent: Modest fees; depend on event and duration

Long-term Rentals
The following long-term rentals are currently available:

  • Second Floor Space
    A total space of approximately 565 square feet is available for rent as either commercial or office rental. The space has windows in almost all areas that open to the southern and western side of the building near two bathrooms. The space is located in the back of the gym, but has an independent stairwell to provide access to the office. Wired for telephone, it would make an excellent artist studio or office.
    Rent: $350 approximately a month, includes utilities.


  • First Floor Space
    A total space of approximately 3500 square feet is available for rent as either commercial or office rental. The space can be subdivided into three offices or businesses and includes several doors for entry, outside space for retail frontage and easy identification/marketing, large kitchen, several bathrooms, windows in almost all areas that open to the southern side of the building, and parking close to entry doors.
    Rent: Depends on configuration and location


  • Ground Floor Space
    Various small areas (approximately 80–100 square feet each) are available for long-term rent, which could be used as office or storage areas.
    Rent: Negotiable.
